Municipal, Airport and Land Development Civil Engineer/Project Manager
BS Degree in Civil Engineering and registration as PE required. Knowledgeable in plan development for either land development, municipal or airport design, with desired experience in one or more of the following areas: roadway, traffic, runway/apron rehabilitation, planning and layout, hydraulic analysis, storm drainage, detention design, water distribution, and sanitary sewer design. Applicant must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD software. Civil 3D, StormCAD, HydroCAD or WaterCAD experience a plus.
Mechanical Engineering Technician
Experience with AutoCad (REVIT is preferred but not required); general computer skills with Microsoft Office Applications; knowledge of mathematics, including percentages, algebra, plane and solid geometry, and basic trigonometry; Ability to draft hand revisions made by project engineers and assist with design tasks; Ability to organize work, work with architectural and engineering scales, and concentrate on accuracy of details; Experience drafting on architectural new construction and renovation; Someone who enjoys a wide range of project diversity.
Substation Design Technician
Experience with designing and preparing complex civil and electrical drawings which may include station location plans, electrical assemblies, cable and conduit plans, cable schedules, grounding plans and other detailed drawings using CADD applications. Prepare engineering drawings utilizing CADD applications for developing substation physical layouts, elevation and section views, one and three line diagrams, protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams and equipment connection diagrams. Ability to develop a detailed bill of materials for substation structural components, power equipment, system protection and control components. Performs modifications and/or updates to existing drawings, diagrams, assemblies and layouts to reflect design changes, substation upgrades or equipment change-outs. Minimum of Associate’s Degree in electrical technology or two years of technical experience related to electrical design plus 5 or more years of experience with substation design or substation operations.
CAD Technician
Experience with AutoCad,(Civil 3D preferred); general computer skills with Microsoft Office Applications; knowledge of mathematics, including percentages, algebra, plane and solid geometry, and basic trigonometry. Ability to draft hand revisions made by project managers; ability to organize work; work with architectural and engineering scales; and concentrate on accuracy of details. Desired drafting experience on one or more of the following areas: Municipal, Airports, Transportation or Land Development projects.
