NW 5th AND MAIN STREET STREETSCAPE - Oklahoma City, OK

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project No. MP-0298 is a streetscape on NW 5th Street from Walker Avenue to Harvey Avenue and Robinson Avenue to Broadway Avenue, and Main Street from BNSF Railroad to Walnut Avenue. DESIGN FEATURES:
The City of Oklahoma City desired to narrow NW 5th Street for traffic calming measures, widen sidewalks, incorporate decorative medians and sidewalks, traffic signal modifications, as well as landscape features. Conversion of NW 5th Street to two-way between Walker and Hudson was necessary for completion of the project. The Main Street section includes new curb and gutter, as well as refurbished sidewalks. A wayfinding connection between NW 5th Street and Main Street was also included in this project. |

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Cobb Engineering Company (CEC) is providing the Construction Management/Inspection Services for the Cross Timbers Municipal Complex located on 137 acres at the southeast corner of I-35 and Covell in Edmond, Oklahoma. The project includes the construction of an Animal Welfare Facility, Fire Training Facility including Fire Station #5, and a Public Service Center Facility. Infrastructure, including waterline, sewer line, communications, utilities, and roadways, is also being developed.
Services provided by CEC as the Construction Management for this project include; value engineering, observations of contractor’s survey, quality assurance/quality control, facilitation of pre-bid and pre-award meeting, report preparation, and any other general administration typically involved in Construction Management.

WATER MAIN EXTENSION - Oklahoma City, OK

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project includes a water main extension (42” and 36”) from the Lake Hefner Water Treatment Plant seven and one half miles to Booster Pump Station No. 18. The water main had to be designed to minimize existing utility crossings, a proposed aerial creek crossing was designed and a highway crossing was coordinated with the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority along the Heffner and Britton Road Route. Also included in this project was the evaluation and upgrade design for Booster Pump Station No. 18. The proposed design will increase the capacity to 8 million GPD.

| SH 99 AND RICHARDSON LOOP - ADA, OK
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Design of a new four lane divided highway alignment for SH 99 from SH 3W on the east side of Ada north approximately 1.5 miles. This project included design of a trumpet interchange with a bride over SH 99. Also included were new traffic signals for the intersection of Broadway Avenue in Ada, Oklahoma.
DESIGN FEATURES:
A conceptual study was completed to determine the best and most feasible interchange configuration. Traffic control and construction sequencing was critical to maintain traffic on the existing JA Richardson Loop which became an exit ramp to the City of Ada as part of the project. Geotechnical investigations were required to properly design the new facility in rocky terrain where large cuts and fills were needed to meet design standards. |

Widen existing runway from 40 feet to 60 feet, asphalt overlay, and mark runway 17-35 and reconstruct, widen and mark taxiway. Grade and drain runway safety area and reconstruct and expand tie-down apron. Also a new warm-up apron was added. Installation of runway and taxiway lights, lighted wind- cone and rotating beacon.
