Project Summary
JP # 20237(04) Grade, Drain, Bridge and Surface
Project included 2 miles of undivided four-lane highway with portions of curb and gutter. The existing highway was a two-lane 40-foot 0-inch clear roadway section. For construction savings the existing highway was used and widened on one side. There were two bridges over the North Canadian River and over flow. The existing bridge substructure was used and the bridges were widened to one side.
JP #20237(08) Grade, Drain and Bridge
Project included 2 miles of divided grade and drain. The existing highway was left alone and offset lanes were designed to the west. Project also included a 135-foot type S single span PC beam bridge and 2 RCB bridge structures.
JP #20237(07) Grade, Drain, and Surfacing Plans
Project included 2 miles of surfacing on the offset lanes constructed in JP 20237(08) and the mill and overlay of the existing highway.
