Project Summary
The project consisted of a study of the feasibility of placing back into operation Oklahoma State University’s (OSU’s) water treatment plant (WTP), which had not been operated since 2001. Doing this would allow the University to provide its own water and would serve as a backup source of treated water for the City of Stillwater. This study basically consisted of the following tasks:
- Review current WTP status
- Determined specific work needed to bring it up to current ODEQ standards
- Investigate the raw water system to ascertain its ability to conveyance raw water from Lake Carl Blackwell to the WTP
